What is a HRIS?

HRIS which is also known as human resource information system or HRMS which is also known as a human resource management system, is basically an intersection of human resources and information technology through HR software. HRIS allows a company to plan, organize and execute HR Activities in an efficient way. HRIS can be used to plan HR costs more effectively, as well as to manage them and control them without needing to allocate too many resources to them. HRIS will also lead to increases in efficiency when it comes to making decisions in HR. The decisions made should also increase in quality and as a result, the productivity of both employees and managers should increase and become more effective.

What are the modules existing in senHRIS Package?

Employee Information Management

This is a core module in HRIS, which captures a host of employee related information and provides these details to other parts of the HRIS.

Organizational Structure

This module will facilitate to manage organizational master data and create organizational hierarchy.

Employee Lifecycle

This module tracks the movement of employees during their employment including promotions, placements, incidents and transfers.

Time & Attendance

The time & attendance module is a comprehensive solution catering to all attendance related needs in the organization. The system can be integrated with any other module, like the payroll system, to transfer attendance information and enable the calculation of overtime and other attendance based allowances if any.

Onboarding

On boarding module help to schedule newcomer arrangements like visiting cards, email, laptop and other things. Each task owners has list of ongoing task to do before the recruitment.

Leave Management

This module provides extensive possibilities of defining leave types, holiday schedules, leave entitlements and leave schedules. It also includes functions such as leave application processing, checking leave balances, leave approval and leave history.

Self Service (Intranet)

senIntranet serves as a front end interface for senHRIS for employees. Also it works as a social network system within the organization to simplify communication and reduce paper work for long HR processes.

Payroll

HRIS has integrated payroll with other modules to calculate salary. Allowances and deductions can be pre-defined and Tax calculations can be linked to those allowances. Overtime calculation is integrated to attendance module.

Performance Evaluation

Defines individual Key performance indicators by the HOD of the department. It will allow evaluate the KPI by HOD of the department quarterly and Annual Performance evaluation will be added to those quarterly evaluated KPI results.

Training & Development

Company Skills matrix can be defined and maintained by the Training Manager. Skill matrix can be allocated to each designation. Designation skills can be applied to individuals and can be allocated to training sessions.

Analytics Module

HRIS analytics can be customized as HR dashboards and reminders.

Recruitment

This module will facilitate the recruitment process of your company and it will record all the steps you follow in the process including interview scheduling. It starts from a recruitment request by the department heads.
